3, the material selection of the workpiece should be appropriate, material utilization rate is high. In stamping process, the workpiece material costs accounted for about 60% of the cost of manufacturing. Therefore, under the premise of ensuring the workpiece using requirements and stamping process performance, improve material utilization, reduce the edge and reasonable layout, make full use of technology and material structure with thin material waste, generation of thick material, a black metal generation of non-ferrous metals, are effective ways to reduce the costs of stamping.
